The visible PR on the Toolbar has been updated by Google this week.

I notice that the Sitemap has really helped spread Toolbar PR quite well. More and more webmasters are realizing that the TBPR updates are just not that important. Does PR affect your SERPS still? Yes, but not nearly as dramatically as it used to.

Google has seemingly jumped to a huger than normal lead lately in the logs here. Why that is, I cannot say for sure, but the traffic is up in quantity.

It doesn’t look like a complete rollback, but there does appear to be a minor adjustment this week since the Bourbon update.

It appears that the relevancy know has been turned up yet again. No guarantee that this is true across the board, but I’m seeing it on sites I monitor.

It seems that a remarkable amount of directories have been removed from Google lately.

What exactly all of these directories had in common, I cannot say, but I have studied the structure of many and the biggest issue is using the same scripts and generating duplicate content. Luckily, there is no duplicate content here, so that’s one less thing to worry about.
