Allowing comments in your weblog
I think I’m supposed to allow comments in my weblog, in order to facilitate communications between the outside world and me. The trouble is, whenever I’ve allowed comments on, the amount of bogus referal spam is incredibile. The Texas Hold’em boys and the Viagra Salesman must probe each IP address continously so that they can find any opening, for however long, post their “Nice site, you should see my site at: ” style messages.
I guess I could use the pre-moderation option, but I wonder if there is truly any advantage to this at all.
